Welcome to 
Prelude: A Young Artist Showcase
Celebrating the incredible future of the arts through talented young performers of the Upstate!

This event is free and open to the public.
Reservations are required for entry.

We are pleased to present a delightful evening of theatre at 7:30pm with acts prepared and presented by selected young artists of the Upstate.

Featured talents will include musical and non-musical theatre performances in solo performance, playwriting, and original song writing. To be selected for the showcase, students prepared an audition, and submitted a headshot and resume to Centre Stage as they would in a professional setting. All students who participate in the showcase will have the opportunity to be considered for an internship at Centre Stage and further professional development opportunities. Consideration for acceptance into our year-round Internship Program includes an interview with the Centre Stage Artistic and Production staff as well as a review of any additional portfolio materials to be supplied by the student. In addition three scholarships will be awarded to participants in the showcase.
