Welcome

Welcome to our 34th Season!

September always brings feelings of renewal / starting anew for me...I guess I've never lost that feeling of going back to school even after many, many years.

Here at Curtain Call September marks the beginning of a new season - new opportunities to work with terrifically talented and passionate volunteers who make our shows happen - new audience members to meet - old time patrons to welcome home.

For me personally, this new season marks my 25th here as Executive Director...a milestone that wouldn't have been possible without you, our loyal patrons, the aforementioned incredible volunteer performers, technicians, etc. that bring our shows to life for you, our staff and Board of Directors, and the incredible, ongoing support of our city leaders who support this municipal theatre complex

I'm very excited about this season because many of the shows on tap are here for the first time - including TOOTSIE. Later in the season we have MYSTIC PIZZA, YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN and THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL all playing in Stamford for the first time. We also have the northeast premiere of A JUKEBOX FOR THE ALGONQUIN witten by CT native, Paul Stroili. And of course we have some old favorites too like MULBERRY STREET, ANYTHING GOES, AND THEN THERE WERE NONE and more. Click here to read about all of our season's offerings.

We have many special events coming up, too, including our new BROADWAY CONCERT SERIES. The first is October 24 at the Stamford Italian Center which features Curtain Call alum, Dan Micciche - music director of WICKED on Broadway, along with Carrie St. Louis and John Riddle. Click here to read all about this great night.

One of the things that all of us at Curtain Call are most proud of is our work at nurturing the next generations of theatre-lovers and theatre artists. One young man who grew up here was working on TOOTSIE when it played on Broadway and it's through him that I found this fun new show. I hadn't laughed that hard at a new musical in many years, so I was excited to bring it to you.

If you're here as a single ticket buyer, we hope you'll be back for more throughout this season. Maybe we can entice you: you may purchase any of our discounted Flex Passes and apply the cost of this ticket to the cost - just ask our Box Office staff to help or call us at 203-461-6358.

THANK YOU AGAIN FOR JOINING US!

Sincerely,
