Welcome to the first show in the 2025-2026 Dressing Room Theatre season!

I've always been a mystery fan, having read all the Sherlocks Holmes books by the time I was in high school. I expanded to Agatha Christie and Alfred Hitchcock as I got older, all the while being treated to (by my dad) British humor of Monty Python and more. 

When I first heard about THE 39 STEPS on a visit to London, it seemed like a perfect show for me: Hitchcock and Python combined. I wasn't disappointed and I hope you won't be, either. The intriguing story - with dozens of characters played by only four actors -  was a perfect melding of the two genres for me.

As we're just digging into the new season here, if you haven't yet see COME FROM AWAY, I encourage you to see this wonderful production which has now been extended through October 11. Many of our long-time patrons have said it's the best show they have ever seen here, so I hope you get to see it.

We've got many shows scheduled this season that have never played here before, so I hope, if you're not currently a Flex Pass Subscriber, that you'll consider one of our passes to be here more regularly. Check with our Box Office team for details on the savings options and local dining discounts.

We also have our annual fall fundraiser coming up on Monday, October 20, at the Stamford Italian Center...a great night of veteran Broadway performers in a cabaret night with great food and drink to raise funds in support of our operations.
