Executive Director's Welcome

Welcome to our 35th season!

Stephen King is a writer I came to later in life than many. . .PET SEMATARY was the first of his novels that I read and then I wasted no time catching up. MISERY quickly became a favorite...don't ask me why. The film adaptation was a huge hit and so I was glad that the film's screenwriter, William Goldman, wrote a stage version, which we have here now.

While I know King's style isn't everyone's cup of tea - authors like David Mamet and even Stephen Sondheim aren't either - I think there are plenty of King's fans who will enjoy seeing this story on stage.

The first two shows of our season kicked us off with both shows selling out. Many of the single ticket-buyers that came have become Flex Pass Subscribers, taking advantage of the discounted prices, restaurant discounts, and other benefits. We hope you will, too. Check with our Box Office team for details on the savings options and local dining discounts.

Coming up next, we have another show that has never played in Stamford before: WHITE CHRISTMAS!  It's loaded with Irving Berlin hits and fabulous dancing. A holiday treat for the whole family. At press time, we already have three SOLD OUT performances, so don't wait to book your seats.

For now, enjoy your time with Annie Wilkes and Paul Sheldon!

Sincerely,

Lou Ursone
