Welcome

It truly is A Grand Night For SInging!

Of course, for me, any night is a grand night for singing.
I am a faithfully, unabashed musical theatre fan and among my earliest favorites were the classics by the great team of Rodgers and Hammerstein.

Their amazing collaboration created dozens of songs that are considered the best of the best. I'm not sure which was most important to the success: the music or the lyrics, but for me, the lyrics are what stick with me the most.

When A Grand Night For Singing played on Broadway, I never had the chance to see it. In all honesty, I can't imagine it any better than what our team has put together here. The vocal arrangements are stunning and, along with our on stage orchestra, we have a real treat for you.

As you all know, the past two+ years have been a real challenge for the performing arts industry. If I never have to use the words pivot or contingency plan again, I'd be happy. Covid has caused changes to our schedules like never before. This show being one of those changes from our originally schedule production of The Wizard of Oz. I truly appreciate your support and understanding during these difficult times.

Looking ahead, we have two more great shows on tap: the world premiere of the charming new comedy, The Lobby, playing next month in the Dressing Room Theatre and our recently announced, Disaster, the musical, (another schedule shuffle) playing in the Kweskin Theatre in June.

VERY SOON, we'll be able to announce what I hope will be a normal and exciting season for you. We have several shows planned which have never played here before - and at least one which will be an area premiere. Watch your email for the good news.

For now, sit back and enjoy the incredible music of Rodgers and Hammerstein.
