Welcome
TIME FLIES!!!

Though I'm well into my 23rd season here, I still have a hard time believing that I have been here that long. I guess it's partly due to the fact that I love what I do and the people I work with.
But it really is true that time flies and seems to fly faster as we get older. In fact it was 41 years ago that my first professional acting contract was for SHE LOVES ME! It doesn't remotely seem like that long ago.
And I have loved this show ever since.

Like most great stories that are told and retold - tweaked along the way -  SHE LOVES ME is the fourth version of this tale of seeming adversaries falling in love. The formula that worked to perfection for
James Stewart and Margaret Sullavan in "The Shop Around The Corner," for Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland in In "The Good Old Summertime," for Daniel Massey and Barbara Cook in SHE LOVES ME,
and most recently for Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan in "You've Got Mail" all began with the 1936 play, PARFUMERIE by Miklós László.

This charming and funny musical has long been on my list of shows I wanted to present here, but I have always worried about the fact that it is not very well known. But with this 50th anniversary of The Kweskin Theatre,
I really wanted a season of new shows for you, our loyal fans. I really hope you'll be charmed as I was all those years ago...and send your friends back to see it! (As you may know, due to Covid concerns we have double cast
our shows this season so if you'd like to come back and see the other team, you may do so for half off your ticket price...just call the Box Office at 203-461-6358.

AND... those of you who have been with us for a while know that Fairfield County Giving Day has been a very important fundraising program for us. Contributions of just $10 (or more) have added up to many thousands of dollars.
This February, we will participate in what will be the 10th and final Giving Day program, so I really hope you can help us make this the most successful event ever.

As we enter the holiday season, please accept the thanks from all of us at Curtain Call for your support...we wouldn’t be here without your regular patronage. We wish you the best this holiday season and in the coming New Year!
