Welcome

"THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME!"

Perhaps one of the most recognizable and oft-quoted lines of all filmdom, "there's no place like home" affects us all in different ways.

Here at Curtain Call, we like to think of our amazing company of volunteer actors and crew (and more) as family. In fact, many "real" families participate in our shows...in OZ, we have three married couples (one has their two children also performing, several siblings and more. And when someone returns here for a new show, whether a few months have passed or a several years, I always greet them with "welcome home."

There's a certain bond that comes about from the intense, eight weeks of learning and rehearsing a show together. And just like any sporting activity, the camaraderie and teamwork needed for success is just as important on and off the stage. That's what our family is all about. And why we're glad you're part of our family, too.

As we come into the home stretch of our 33rd season, we're very excited about our next season which will start in September. We have several new shows lined up and some old favorites, too, so we hope you'll join us. But for now, enjoy your journey over the rainbow and I hope to see you back here soon: ASSASSINS -Stephen Sondheim's musical history lesson.

Sincerely,

Lou Ursone
