The Musical Ambassadors of the Army
Washington, D.C.
June 25, 2023
Chautauqua Amphitheater
Guests of The United States Army Field Band:
On behalf of the United States Army, I welcome you to this summer performance by The United States Army Field Band — America's premier touring musical organization. As the Field Band sets out on their Summer 2023 National Outreach Tour, celebrating the 247th anniversary of our nation's independence, know that these talented men and women have embraced the endless possibilities of service to our Army with passion and purpose. Their musical excellence, electrifying performances, and patriotic spirit exemplify the American Soldier and America's Veterans, who chose selflessly to serve in the United States Army and find their own pathways to success. I am confident their performance will both inspire and entertain you.
The Soldiers performing today represent the Total Army Force — those deployed and forward stationed — committed in over 140 countries around the world who defend our nation and its interests. The United States Army has brought out the best in those who serve —being all they can be, from generation to generation and remaining the world's premier combat force. I hope you enjoy this performance.
Sincerely,
Allan M. Pepin
