About the Concert

The Heifetz Holiday Tour arrives at Garth Newel Music Center! This concert features legendary violist Paul Neubauer performing alongside the Heifetz Ensemble in Residence—Julia Angelov, violin; Jihyun Baik, violin; Jane Taerim Kim, viola; and Rachel Taylor, cello. They’ll perform favorites of the season along with glittering solo works, chamber masterworks, and some special Yuletide treats for listeners of all faiths, including the premiere of four new commissioned arrangements of beloved classics by Gershwin, Tchaikovsky, Ravel, and Vaughn Williams. You won’t want to miss the dazzling virtuosity and poignant passion of these young performers, whose music will help to make the holidays glow a bit brighter. Hallelujah!
