Here we are again! It’s late Spring in Oklahoma City and everything is in transition. The weather is changing, graduations are on the horizon, and we’ve arrived at the final show in OKC Rep’s 2025-26 Season.
I’ve been eagerly awaiting the opening of EVERY CASTLE, RANKED since I watched a recording of it this time last year. Lindy West and Ahamefule J. Oluo have created a piece of theater that in one swift hour balances silliness with introspection. Even while it’s making you laugh, EVERY CASTLE, RANKED asks questions like: What happens when events in our lives don’t pan out the way we thought they would? How do those disappointments impact the way we define ourselves? And, what does it look like to break free from those definitions? Lindy is such a warm, compelling storyteller that I think you’ll have as much fun watching her as the OKC Rep team had working with her on this show.
