LENS
Choreographer: Trey Kirris
Music: “a1” by Olafur Arnalds and Nils Frahm, and “Hammers” by Nils Frahm
Lighting Designer: Harrison Williams
Costume Designer: Trish Clark
Dancers: Tori Bascou, Rae Bracey, Catherine Bright, Elizabeth Boyd, Anara Holland-Holt, Naomi Laurent, Natalie McCutcheon, Juju Pinson, Laci Rose, Brittany Tillery, Tyler Walker, Piper Whitmore
Notes: Lens is a piece about the things that cameras can capture – both good and bad. Through this choreography, we can capture the essence and emotions of beautiful and dangerous situations that our phones, cameras, and surveillance catch every day. Through this performance, we may start to realize that by putting the camera down, we can start to see the world for how it really is.
ONE FOOT FORWARD
Choreographer: Kim Holt
Music: “Optimist” by Zoë Keating, “Narrow is the Way” and “...Week No.10” by Fabrizio Paterlini
Lighting Designer: Harrison Williams
Costume Designer: Trish Clark
Dancers: Avery Biddle, Elizabeth Boyd, Annabelle Cranfill, Charokee Malone, Katey Mitchell, Sydney Oglesby, Juju Pinson, Shelby Williams
Notes: “Don’t worry this is just a season, it will pass”, is something we often say to encourage others to remain hopeful, to remind them that there is something beyond this moment. This piece explores the feeling of being stuck in a “season” and the struggle one goes through while moving through a difficult time.

Well, I highly recommend that you push those feelings deep down inside you, okay? Put on a happy face and have a wonderful day doing what you do every day! Again!
