Experience the magic of Stephen Sondheim’s music under the stars with your friends at Orchestra Iowa as we kick off our 100th Anniversary celebration! Broadway star Melissa Errico shares personal stories, poignant moments, and hilarious memories of her time shared with Sondheim and his music. Backed by the power of Orchestra Iowa, iconic song selections from Broadway staples will honor the extraordinary legacy of Stephen Sondheim.

Bring the kids and come early for some educational family fun! Get up-close, listen, play, and touch real live musical instruments at our Instrument Petting Zoo, hosted by West Music! Experience the strangest instrument ever invented, the Theremin. It makes the spooookiest sounds. Learn how it is made and how it works. Coloring activities, magical music carpet, and more for our littlest music lovers too! The fun begins when gates open at 5:30 pm. 17 and under are FREE with a paid adult.
