The music of composer John Williams has transported us to new worlds beyond our imagination. Maestro Hector Guzman leads the PSO in an evening of all your John Williams favorites from Star Wars, Harry Potter, JFK, Indiana Jones, The Patriot, and more.

This special evening celebrates the undisputed king of movie music with a look back at four decades of John Williams' beloved works! With a particular focus on his legendary collaboration with Academy Award-­winning director Steven Spielberg, there will be no shortage of fan favorites. It’s going to be a glorious evening of film scores. The winner of 24 Grammy Awards and 5 Academy Awards, John Williams earned his first Academy Award for adapting the music of the screen version of Fiddler on the Roof. His big break came when director Steven Spielberg asked him to write the score for the movie Jaws. From there, Williams' string of hits with Spielberg seemed endless with Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park, and Schindler's List. For 14 years, Williams was the conductor of the famed Boston Pops Orchestra, where he performed with every major popular artist of this century. With the  popularity of his music and countless number of people loving his compositions, John Williams is truly an American Icon.
