Words from the Director

Going into rehearsals for THE PIN-UP GIRLS, I knew it was going to be a fun, funny, energetic show. What I didn't know was how moving it was going to be. Reading the words and lyrics in the script provided me with a good idea of what the show would be about. But, hearing the words and lyrics took it to another level. The actors and I loved discovering what it meant to send and receive letters during wartime. In a time where everyone has cell phones and internet access, we take for granted how easy it is to stay in touch. Imagine waiting for weeks and sometimes months to hear from a loved one. I doubt texts and emails will stand the test of time as these beautiful letters have. I hope this production of THE PIN-UP GIRLS reminds everyone of the sacrifices our veterans made for the love of their country. From WWI through present times, men and women alike have selflessly decided to serve their country. We all thank them for their service!
