THE MOUNTAINTOP was developed at the Lark Play Development Center, New York City, and was first produced by Theatre 503 in June 2009 and further produced at Trafalgar Studio One in July 2009 by Sonia Friedman Productions and Jean Doumanian, Tali Pelman for Ambassador Theatre Group, Bob Bartner, Freddy DeMann, Jerry Frankel, Ted Snowdon and Marla Rubin Productions Ltd.

THE MOUNTAINTOP was developed at the 2008 Bay Area Playwrights Festival, a program of the Playwrights Foundation (Amy L. Mueller, Artistic Director).

Dr. Terrance Ruth will lead a virtual community conversation with the cast and director of RLT’s production of The Mountaintop. About Dr. Terrance Ruth

Dr. Terrance Ruth is a professor at NC State University in the School of Social Work. He is leading an Anti-Racist investment strategy that invest in community driven solutions with United Way. He officially announced his candidacy for Mayor of Raleigh for the upcoming municipal election. He is the former State Executive Director for the NC NAACP State Conference. He is also the former Vice President of Programing for the Repairers of the Breach. He was a teacher and alternative school principal for Wake County Public Schools. Terrance Ruth holds a PhD Degree from the University of Central Florida, in Public Affairs. He has a son, Miles Ruth, and his wife, Kiara Ruth.
