It’s so hard to put into words how much this recital, and getting to this moment means to me. This recital has been a labor of love, and truly represents so much of my past, present and future. My time at Shenandoah University has been filled with love, light, ups, downs and memories, and this recital feels like a testament to those moments. I’d like to thank and recognize all my previous voice teachers, and my current teacher, Melissa Chávez for believing in me and giving me space to grow and learn. Also, I’d like to thank the music therapy program and my cohort for offering me a supportive community to live and learn in. Special thanks to my friends and family, I wouldn’t be where I am today without you all, and I’m so unbelievably lucky. My heart is filled with so much gratitude. Love you all!
