Biography

Linette Taylor, mezzo soprano, is a singer, musician, composer, voice teacher, and graduate student at Shenandoah University. She received her B.Mus. from Houghton University in 2023 with a concentration in voice performance and a minor in music composition. Some of her favorite past projects include portraying The Witch in into the Woods (2023) at Houghton University, performing in Angelmakers: Songs for Female Serial Killers (2022) with Realtime Arts, and producing Daughters of Eve (2022), an original song cycle exploring the misunderstood narratives of biblical women. Upon graduating in May, she plans to move to Pittsburgh and pursue voice teaching full-time. Outside of the world of music, she is fond of outer space, ramen noodles, and her cat Willow.
