In a world where compassion, love, and kindness all seem out of reach, I hope this program can offer some remnants of encouragement and hope. The ultimate message I would like for all of [you] to take away is though we may feel that we are presently walking through our own versions of chaos and darkness, we never have to do it alone. While the world may make us feel like we are warped in a nightmare, there is something so profoundly rewarding in remembering that no matter who we are, no matter where we come from, and no matter what we do— we inherently contribute to our world as artist advocates and global citizens.
