Biography

Emma Shields is a senior music education student at Shenandoah University (SU). She is a member of the Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band and Marching Band at SU. She has been playing oboe since fifth grade and has always enjoyed learning and playing music. She is very thankful for her oboe professor, Stephen Key, for helping her make immense progress and sharing the joy of oboe playing. She is very excited to start her career as a music educator!

Emma Shields is from the studio of Stephen Key. This recital is presented in partial fulfillment of the requirements for a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a Performance Certificate (Oboe).
