Informed by Daniel Padierna’s childhood experience as a fatherless son, Take Care journeys through his feelings of nostalgia, anger and sadness as motivators to move on from the absence of his father. Take Care (2019) was originally commissioned for Jersey (new) Moves at New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, New Jersey.
