Marcus Anderson is a Grammy- and Stellar- award nominated musician and has joined stages with world-renowned artists; performed for dignitaries; and delighted audiences with his fusion of R&B, pop, rock and funk. He has 20 top 25 hits on Billboard, with 3 number ones! He was fortunate to work with and be mentored by one of his musical heroes, the late Artist Formerly Known As Prince. Marcus was featured on two tracks of the late legend’s final studio album, which was the last one released in his lifetime. Marcus has also appeared with headliners on The Tonight Show, Arsenio Hall, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Jimmy Fallon.
A native of nearby Spartanburg, South Carolina, and a graduate of NC Central’s prestigious jazz studies program, Marcus is a multi-instrumentalist who “gives it all” on stage, an entrepreneur who owns a coffee shop in Rocky Mount.
