WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE PART OF A LEGACY?
It means a city that sees itself on our stage and a community transformed by movement. As we celebrate a season of sold-out performances and record-breaking audiences, your support ensures we conclude our 2026/27 Season strong and enter our 50th with momentum.
Right now, your gift goes twice as far.
$50 becomes $100 • $100 becomes $200 • $500 becomes $1,000
YOU ARE THE HEART OF THE WASHINGTON BALLET
Our generous supporters, Board Member Luanne Adams and Murrell Smith, are matching the first $250,000 in contributions made by June 30. This means every dollar becomes two, helping us bring the power and joy of dance to our entire community.
Your gift today doubles the impact for:

Thursdays | 2:00-3:15PM
What if movement could help you feel steadier, more expressive, and more connected to others? Dance can do more than lift spirits—it can improve balance, coordination, and mobility for people living with Parkinson’s. That’s the foundation of Dance for PD®, where movement becomes a tool for wellness and creative expression.
Join us in person each Thursday at our Cathedral Commons studio or virtually from home. Pre-register online to save your spot. Walk-ins are welcome, and TWB staff are ready to assist with registration.
“Our Thursday sessions at TWB are full of joy, movement, and connection. Whether you’re living with Parkinson’s or joining as a care partner or family member, you’re warmly welcomed—no dance experience needed. I can’t wait to dance with you!” - Lucy Bowen McCauley, Dance for PD® Teaching Artist
June 6 - August 29
Saturdays | 11:00AM-12:00PM
Designed for those who seek a level of mastery, comprehension, and focus through a rigorous dance experience, Dance for PD® PRO classes integrate elements of diverse dance styles to help people with Parkinson’s build and master a specific set of skills through a focused, intensive approach. Expert teachers guide participants through accelerated physical and cognitive training, technique, improvisation, and a focus on structural alignment in an intimate, friendly, personalized workshop environment. Each class includes a progressive all-standing warm up, standing barre work and traveling steps.
