Author's Bio

Rick Seeber (Conveiver) is a nationally known theatrical and audio producer/director. He produced The Singular Dorothy Parker on Off Broadway. 8-Track, The Sounds of the 70's, conceived and directed by Mr. Seeber, premiered at Milwaukee Rep and has enjoyed long runs in over thirty-five cities, including at the Ordway Center, St. Paul, MN, the Hermosa Beach Playhouse, CA, the Downtown Cabaret Theatre, Bridgeport, CT, the Pittsburgh CLO, Capital Rep Albany, NY, and the Derby Dinner Playhouse Louisville, KY. His many productions of Beehive, The 60's Musical began with a year-long run in Denver followed by two coast to coast national tours, the most recent touring to 70 cities. Other engagements of Beehive include the Luxor Hotel Las Vegas, Harrahs Atlantic City, the Gem Theatre Detriot, Theatre Under The Stars Houston and Stagewest, Toronto. Mr. Seeber's production of A Brief History of White Music ran for over a year in Denver followed by numerous productions including Milwaukee Rep, WaterTower Theatre, Dallas, TX, MusicalFare, Buffalo, NY and the Oregon Cabaret Theatre. The national tour played in cities as diverse as Aspen, CO, Billings, MT and Springfield, MA. Michael Gribbin (Musical Arranger) After seventeen years on the road as Associate Conductor of the National Tours of numerous shows including Wicked, Spamalot, Les Miserables, Disney's The Lion King, Fame, A Chorus Line, and Jesus Christ Superstar, Michael is now Associate Professor of Theatre at Coastal Carolina University, Conway, South Carolina. Regionally, Michael has worked throughout the U.S. on such shows as The Who's Tommy, Nunsense, Into the Woods, Beehive, and 42nd Street. He has accompanied such artists as Ben Vereen, Colm Wilkinson, and Peter Allen, and has taught musical theatre classes in Colorado, Florida and California. Along with members of the acapella vocal/comedy group 'Minimum Wage' Michael was a grand prize winner on ABC's America's Funniest People.

  • The exit indicated by a red light and sign nearest to the seat you occupy is the shortest route to the street. In the event of a fire or other emergency please do not run-WALK TO THAT EXIT. 
  • The taking of photographs and sound recordings is strictly prohibited. 
  • Please turn off cell phones and pagers and refrain from texting during the performance.
  • The Welder Center is a non-smoking facility. Smoking in prohibited areas violates city ordinance and is punishable by law. 
  • Children are not allowed to run in the Lobby and/or play on the stairs or with the stanchions in the Lobby. 
  • If there is an incident, please let the House Manager know so they can take steps to correct the problem.
