On behalf of the Board of Directors, welcome to our 30th season of the Wichita Falls Youth Symphony Orchestra! Our musicians, directors and educational staff are excited to be able to share their hard work with you.
This season is a celebration of the legacy of excellence begun by our founder, Gail Key, and there is much to celebrate! We celebrate the growth of our programming, adding the Philharmonic Orchestra and Strings Ensemble. We celebrate the addition of early string education in our elementary schools through the Gail Key Academy of Music. We celebrate unwavering community support through business sponsors, advertisers, parents and friends like you, that provide the resources to continue our mission. And most important, we celebrate our students, who continue to grow musically, educationally, and socially, through fun and challenging musical experiences.
The Youth Symphony Orchestra is building on this strong foundation to provide exciting opportunities well into the future. We appreciate everyone who plays a role in achieving our mission. From the conductors, to the coaches and administration staff, to YOU – we all have parts to play in this orchestra!
