Heather Bailey, Tenth Season
MYSTIC, CONNECTICUT

Heather Bailey, native to Mystic, Connecticut received her early training at Mystic Ballet and later at Eastern Connecticut Ballet under the direction of Adam Miller, Kristin McClure, and Gloria Govrin. She furthered her education at Butler University and graduated with high honors with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance and a minor in mathematics. Heather has enjoyed performing many roles through her years with Alabama Ballet in the classics as well as in works by George Balanchine, such as George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker® (Coffee), Serenade and Western Symphony; Agnes de Mille, including Rodeo and Fall River Legend (Stepmother of the Accused); Dennis Nahat’s Blue Suede Shoes and Sir Frederick Ashton’s Les Patineurs (White Couple). She would like to thank her family, friends, and husband for their support throughout her career.
