Maddie Bachofer Sanders is originally from Chicago, Illinois where she received her ballet training at Alma Dance School. In her training, she performed roles such as Swanhilda in Coppelia, Mercedes in Don Quixote, and Lead Flowers in The Nutcracker. She joined Nashville Ballet as a trainee in 2019 under the direction of Paul Vasterling where she performed in Nashville Ballet’s The Nutcracker. In 2022, she joined Alabama Ballet as an Apprentice under the artistic direction of Tracey Alvey. She is currently completing her first season as an apprentice and is excited to be joining the Alabama Ballet again as an apprentice in the upcoming 23/24 Season!
