MaK Eddins is beginning their first season with Alabama Ballet as the Technical Manager. A Texan, MaK has brought a wealth of expertise and a passion for the arts in major cities all over, from the Lone Star State to the Windy City and in between, working in Scenic & Lighting Design, Props Design, Stage Management and many more technical and artistic positions. MaK has received numerous awards from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and has work that has been seen in different venues across the country that range from theatre, concerts, operas, showcases, live events, etc. MaK has experience designing and working on multiple productions in regional theatres from Houston, Dallas, and Chicago and has also worked for dance companies such as Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, Ballet Chicago, Visceral Dance, and more.
Along with being the Technical Manager at Alabama Ballet, MaK currently holds the title of Paint Charge Artist at the Birmingham Children’s Theatre, along with a certificate in Sensory Inclusion.
When they’re not crafting theatrical wonders, you can find MaK sharing the spotlight with their seven year old feline child or enjoying long, leisurely strolls across the stage.
