Kyle Peterson, First Season
DES MOINES, IOWA

Kyle Peterson grew up in Des Moines, Iowa where he trained at the School of Classical Ballet and Dance under the direction of Serkan Usta and Lori Grooters. With a focus in ballet and tap, Kyle trained in Iowa for over ten years until he was invited to attend the year-round program at The Harid Conservatory in Boca Raton, Florida. After spending a year in Florida, he continued his training at the A&A Ballet in Chicago under Alexei Kremnev and Anna Reznik. During the 2022-2023 season, Kyle was a company member at Palmetto City Ballet in Charleston, South Carolina. Some of Kyle’s favorite roles include Cavalier in The Nutcracker, the Prince in Firebird, Lost Pas and Elephant in Carnival of the Animals, Sneezy in Snow White, and corps work in Le Corsaire. Kyle has performed works by choreographers such as Ma Cong, Mark Godden, and Braeden Barnes as well as the opportunity to perform internationally in Guatemala City in 2022 with the A&A Ballet Youth Company. Kyle is extremely excited to continue his artistic journey throughout his first season with Alabama Ballet.
