Jamei Haswell is a retired Corporate Executive and Professional Engineer. Throughout her 30 year career she specialized in business development, strategic planning and energy efficiency. After retiring in California, Jamei joined the Santa Rosa Symphony board in 2011 and has served the board as Vice Chairman and Chairman, and chaired numerous board committees including Development, Strategic Planning, and Governance. She also served as a member of the Music Director search committee, the Santa Rosa Symphony Master Agreement Union 6 negotiating committee, and most recently, served as co-chair of the President and CEO search committee to replace Alan Silow, who retires in June 30, 2023.
Jamei joined the of board of directors of the Association of California Symphony Orchestras in 2019. She was a member of the Revenue committee, the External Affairs task force and currently serves on the Development committee.
In June, Jamei became a Board Member of the League of American Orchestras.
Jamei lives in Sonoma County wine country. In her spare time, she volunteers for the local hospital hospice, is an artist, loves gardening, and often spends evenings cooking and entertaining friends and family in her home.
