Speaking at Music Directors Roundtable: On and Off the Podium

Paul Meecham joined the Tucson Symphony as its President and CEO in 2021. He has occupied leadership positions with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, London Sinfonietta, San Francisco Symphony, New York Philharmonic, Seattle Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, and Utah Symphony & Opera. With Music Director Marin Alsop, he led the Baltimore Symphony (2006-2016) in pursuing innovative audience development and education strategies, combining an entrepreneurial spirit with fiscal responsibility.

In Tucson, he launched Celebración latina!, a new series to engage southern Arizona’s Hispanic and Latino community, and has fostered collaborations with local arts groups including Ballet Tucson and the University of Arizona School of Dance.
