Emily Cummings
Assistant Director for Club Sport Programs and Team Development

Emily Cummings is a dedicated campus recreation professional with a strong foundation in business and athletic administration. She earned both her undergraduate degree in Business Administration and her master’s degree in Athletic Administration from Southern Connecticut State University.

Emily began her career in campus recreation as a graduate intern for Southern’s Recreation and Fitness Department, where she oversaw competitive sports and facility operations. That role sparked her passion for student development, leadership, and building community through sport.

She currently serves as the Assistant Director for Club Sport Programs and Team Development, where she oversees the daily operations of club sports and supports the growth and development of student-led teams. Emily enjoys being an active member of NIRSA and looks forward to making a meaningful impact in the campus recreation field on a broader scale.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys supporting Boston sports teams and playing pickleball in her free time.
