Roland Galvez
Deputy Title IX Coordinator

Roland Galvez is the Deputy Title IX Coordinator for the Office of Title IX. He has experience in public and private higher education institutions, including the University of New Haven 2019 (undergrad), ESCU 2020-2022 (grad intern), CCSU 2020-2022 (grad student), Yale University 2019-2022 (part-time), and Quinnipiac University 2022-2024 (full-time/grad student). 

Throughout his undergraduate and graduate school experience, he focused on student-facing methods and providing support to all students. Roland has experience in Student Activities, the Office of Equity and Diversity/Title IX, and Residential Life, which led him to his current role. The goals in the role are to promote prevention programming, supportive measures, and fair and equitable treatment for all students. 

Outside of SHU, Roland has a passion for capturing the moment by using his camera for photography and videography; he mainly does event photography, weddings, and family/solo portraits.
