Frank L. Humphrey III is a classically trained tenor and actor. This is his Austin Symphony Orchestra debut. Mr. Humphrey has co-headlined at The First Lady’s Luncheon in Washington, D.C. with Grammy-Award winning artist Gloria Estefan for First Lady of The United States Michelle Obama. He also performed as a guest artist in the Missoula Symphony Orchestra’s Broadway Black Tie Concert and internationally on the La Caroline Rock Opera Tour and The Gospel Jubilee. 

Mr. Humphrey has won several 1st Place awards, including The Grady-Rayam Competition (Male), NAACP Act-So Award, and The Gershwin International Music Competition (Music Theatre and Classical). 

As an actor, Mr. Humphrey can currently be seen in the recurring role of Gabriel on multiple seasons of All the Queen’s Men and the co-starring role of Cal on the first season of Zatima. He performed the role of Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Show, where he garnered a Broadway World Award nomination for Best Lead Actor in a Musical (SC) and Ken Davenport’s Broadway Spotted’s Next Big Star (Off-Broadway Top 10). Other stage acting credits include Papa Ge in Once on This Island, Eddie in Sister Act, Jefferson in A Lesson Before Dying, Peyton in A Christmas Deed, and Freedom in Snapped-Shot. 

Mr. Humphrey received his Bachelor of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music, where he was a Scott Edward Oakley Scholarship recipient. He is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, The Actors’ Equity Association, and a BMI Singer/Songwriter. His Instagram is @therealflh3.
