Dax Dupuy is a songwriter, newly transplanted from Brooklyn to Asheville, NC. She's written several musicals, including Clementine: The Musical, Frosty , Twas the Night Before Christmas, The Fantastical Dangerous Journey of Q and Old Turtle and The Broken Truth. She has also written numerous incidental scores: Othello, Great Expectations, A Midsummer’s Night Dream and many more. She audited BMI’s Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop in 2017, and is currently a member of Maestra, Georgia Stitt’s collective for female composers, music directors and musicians. She spends most of her time hanging out with her cats and avoiding hiking.
