Most recently directed, John Proctor is the Villain for Arizona Repertory Theatre in Tucson, AZ. She has been a member of the resident company at Barter Theatre since 2005, where she has directed or acted in over 100 productions. Her directing credits include Bridges of Madison County, Chicago: The Musical, Woman in Black, Looking Over the President’s Shoulder, Dial M for Murder, Educating Rita, and Maytag Virgin. Favorite acting roles: Mountain Mamas (Wanda), Mamma Mia (Donna), Sister Act (Mother Superior), The Trip to Bountiful (Carrie Watts), Sally McCoy, (Sally McCoy), Always...Patsy Cline (Louise) and the one-woman show The Blonde, the Brunette and the Vengeful Redhead. Prior to Barter, Tricia had an extensive career in regional theatre including South Coast Rep, Asolo Theatre, Florida Stage, Arkansas Rep, Florida Studio, Seaside Music Theatre, Beef & Boards, Mill Mountain, Connecticut Rep and the Coconut Grove Playhouse in the world premiere of Herman Wouk/Jimmy Buffet’s Don’t Stop the Carnival. She has a BA in Theatre from CSU/ Fullerton, and an MFA in Acting from FSU/Asolo. Her proudest accomplishment remains donating bone marrow twice saving the lives of two brothers.
