Connor Stevens
Sound Designer

Connor Stevens joined Barter Theatre as the Resident Sound Designer in the fall of 2025. Since then, he has designed many shows, including Murder for Two, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and The Three Musketeers (which included some of his original compositions). He graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), where he received his Master of Fine Arts in Sound Design. He is a proud member of the Theatrical Sound Designers and Composers Association (TSDCA) and loves telling stories through music and sound. Designs before joining the Barter Family include Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 (UNCSA), One Man, Two Guvnors (Lyric Repertory Theatre), and Twelfth Night (Lyric Repertory Theatre). He also designed an immersive soundscape that lives on an L-Acoustics L-ISA rig at the UNCSA Library.
