Mary Lucy is so happy to be reprising the roles of Dot and Emma in two of her favorite plays.  Her first plays at Barter are also favorites, Steel Magnolias and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, in the summer of 2003. She treasures being a member of Barter’s Resident Acting Company ever since.  A few more favorites include, Driving Miss Daisy, Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks, Holiday Memories, Lying in State, 9 to 5, Dracula Bites and Grinch. Mary Lucy holds degrees from Salem College and Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC.  Both schools are enormous assets to her career in theatre and film. She includes Barter Theatre in this group of outstanding institutions of longevity, and is deeply grateful to all for the gifts they have given her.  She is also deeply grateful to Barter’s patrons, who make telling stories so much fun!
