Barrett Guyton is proud to serve as the Artistic Director of the Barter Players. He is an alumnus of The Barter Players and Barter Players Encore Company, and prior Associate Artistic Director of the Barter Players. Barrett has directed over twenty shows at Barter, including The Barter Players’ productions of The Giver, The Scarlet Letter, The Princess and the Pea, The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, The Neverending Story, Peter Pan, Amelia Earhart, Charlotte’s Web, James and the Giant Peach, and A Wrinkle in Time. He’s also directed the Barter Theatre productions of Exit Laughing, The Loophole, The Lemonade Stand, and A Tuna Christmas. He has served as the Tour Coordinator for the Encore Company since 2016, and for the Player Company from 2016–2019. He is also the director of Barter’s College Playwrights Festival and coordinator of the Young Playwrights Festival. “Thank you to Barter Players far and wide for making the world a better place.”
