Carrie Smith Lewis first came to Barter as an actor in 2006. Favorite roles over the years include M’Lynn (Steel Magnolias), Annie Sullivan (The Miracle Worker), Kamila (The Perfect Murder), Yvonne (The Gnome), and Debbie (The Doyle and Debbie Show). Carrie has worked regionally with the Texas Shakespeare Festival, Georgia Shakespeare, North Carolina Stage Company, Immediate Theatre Project, and Greenville Theatre. Carrie received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from East Tennessee State University, and a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Florida Atlantic University. In addition to her professional work she has also served on the faculties of East Tennessee State University and Emory & Henry College.
