Andrew Morehouse is proud to have served Barter since 2010 as Resident Lighting Designer and Master Electrician and has designed over 100 Barter productions. Andrew received a Master of Fine Arts in Lighting Design from Wayne State University’s Hilberry Theatre in Detroit, Michigan. He has worked as Technical Director for The Paramount Center for the Arts in Bristol, TN, Assistant Technical Director at Southeast Missouri State University, and as an Adjunct Professor at Emory and Henry College. He was also a crew captain and pyrotechnician for Dubai’s 2014, Guinness World Record-winning, New Year’s Eve fireworks display. Andrew has been a guest designer around the country. Favorites of his include: Avenue Q, Thicker Than Water, Mamma Mia!, Chicago, Peter and the Starcatcher, Big Fish, Footloose, Million Dollar Quartet, Singing in the Rain, Shrek, Wait Until Dark, Romeo and Juliet, and Murder on the Orient Express.
