Dear CBA Parents, Families, and Friends,

Welcome to Charlottesville Ballet Academy’s 13th Annual Spring Performance! We’re thrilled to celebrate another remarkable year of dance, growth, and creativity with you.

This season, CBA has continued to flourish—with over 800 students enrolled in classes across Central Virginia and expanded outreach through our CB Moves programs, it has truly been a year of connection and community. 

Today’s performances showcase the incredible progress and passion of our students. We’re proud to present Alice in Wonderland, a whimsical retelling of a beloved classic featuring every ballet class from our Children’s, Student, and By Placement Divisions. Alongside it, Kaleidoscope offers a vibrant celebration of dance genres across all divisions—from tap and jazz to hip hop, contemporary, and more. Together, these performances reflect the dedication and artistry of our dancers at every level.

We’re especially proud of our advanced students, particularly those in the Pre-Professional Advanced and Student Ensemble 5 levels, who are taking on roles typically reserved for professional company artists. These opportunities allow them to deepen their technique, artistry, and storytelling—a joy to witness as they continue to grow.
