Greg Day (Bandleader, Arrangements, and Bass) is no stranger to musical theater as he has performed in, led, and written for many bands in support of the cast and crew around the upstate.  Presently the coordinator of Instrumental Music at Southern Wesleyan University, and a veteran Army Bandsman, Greg graduated from Furman University (BME) and the University of Southern Mississippi (MME) and has taught in the public and private sector from elementary school through graduate school since 1984.  He is an active trumpet and bass player, arranger, conductor and musical consultant.  Most recently writing the music for the Motown Show and Rockabilly Heaven at Centre Stage and A Summer of Soul at the Younts Center, Greg and his son Wesley (Arrangements) have collaborated for years through Day Music Services to provide creative, unique, and compelling music especially for local ensembles.
