Jordan Hanner (Double Bass) studied Music Education at Southern Wesleyan University, playing double bass as his main instrument. He currently teaches string orchestra in Anderson District One at Palmetto Elementary, West Pelzer Elementary, and Palmetto High School. He has performed in ensembles and musical theater productions as a double bassist, bass guitarist and cellist for many playhouses in the upstate region. Plays Jordan has performed with Centre Stage are: Million Dollar Quartet (On-stage character-musician) and Breaking Up is Hard to Do (pit bassist). Other venues he has performed in include Milltown players (Pelzer, SC), Spartanburg Little Theater (Spartanburg, SC), Southern Wesleyan University (Central, SC), and Project Challenge Playhouse (Anderson, SC). Jordan’s Other musical hobbies include composing and arranging, as well as learning other string instruments (currently studying classical guitar and lapsteel).
