Laura Ritter
Musical Director

Laura Ritter (Musical Director) originally from Morristown, Tennessee, has been a collegiate choral conductor for 28 years, serving as Department Head of Music and Theatre at Walters State Community College.  She is currently on the faculty of Clemson University, where she directs the Women's Choir and accompanies voice and instrumental students.  She is also the director of music and organist at Saint Mark United Methodist Church in Seneca and the founding artistic director of Young Voices of the Foothills Children's Choir.  Laura has worked in musical theatre for 25 years, music directing shows like Les Miserables, The Producers, West Side Story, Sunday in the Park with George, and White Christmas.  Her work with Encore Theatrical Company in Morristown, TN has been recognized at the Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta, Ga, where groups under her direction have won the Excellence in Music and Outstanding Female awards.  Working with the director, cast, and crew at Centre Stage has been tons of fun…thanks to all for welcoming this newcomer to Greenville.
