Bess Park (Set Designer) Bess Park is a Professor of Theatre at North Greenville University and head of the theatrical design program.  She is a professional and educational designer, director, and choreographer and has directed and choreographed many university, community, and regional productions. She has been awarded multiple Kennedy Center Faculty Directorial and Design Awards. Most recently she designed the lighting for CentreStage’s “The Color Purple” and scenery/lighting for NGU’s “Elf: The Musical.” As a dance and theatre professional she has worked for over 25 years in Colleges and Universities as faculty and guest artist positions including the WV Wesleyan College, Marshall University, WV and SC Governor’s School for the Arts, CentreStage, Weathervane, Flat Rock Playhouse, and in Europe with Broadway Pops International and the Gamble/Van Dyke Dance Ensemble. “Dr. Bess” holds a PhD in Depth Psychology with a concentration in Somatic Studies from Pacifica Graduate Institute. She is the artistic director of Wild Hare Productions and in her spare time teaches yoga and is a massage therapist.
