Savvy Thompson (Dialect Coach) Savvy Thompson is a local actor & dialect. You may know them from their time with Centre Stage; they played roles such as the Maria Delgado in 9 to 5, Celisse in in Godspell the Musical, & Tilly in And Getting Caught in the Rain; which won the New Play Festival with CS in 2022. Savvy started Dialect Coaching in 2018, working on productions such as Great Expectations (Standard British & Cockney) & Orphan’s Home Cycle (Texan) at Anderson University, as well as The 39 Steps (Standard British, Cockney, German, Scottish) & Shrek the Musical (Scottish) at The Market Theatre. They also work as a private coaching with several local actors. Savvy is incredibly passionate about making dialect work easy and understandable for people, providing actors and directors alike with tools and resources to use their voices to their fullest potential! Savvy is SO PROUD of all the work that the cast on Once the Musical has done on this production, and is honored to be their dialect coach. Fair play to you all!
