Rosemary Ijomah
Raynell Maxson

Rosemary Ijomah (Raynell Maxson) Rosemary makes her debut at the Centre Stage Theater as Raynell in August Wilson’s “Fences”. Hailing from Waterbury, CT she moved down to Greenville, SC in 2019 and has loved it ever since. Although she is a mechanical engineer by trade, Rosemary enjoys all aspects of the arts. She attended an arts magnet high school in Connecticut where she was immersed in music, dance, and theater. Her first experience in a play was as Martha in August Wilson’s “Joe Turner’s Come and Gone” (2010). She also had roles as the Ghost of Christmas Present in “A Christmas Carol” (2011), Lina Lamont in “Singin’ in the Rain” (2012), and most recently Shonda in “The North Plan” (2019). Besides theater, Rosemary enjoys playing tennis with her fiancé, hiking, and DIY home projects during her free time. She is ecstatic to be a part of another August Wilson play and hopes to partake in more projects at Centre Stage!
