Marilyn Crough Olsen
Sister Mary Hubert

Marilyn Olsen is feeling blessed to be back in the “habit” and onstage at Curtain Call with her wonderful Little Sisters. It has been a long year of dark theatres and lockdowns and it’s time to have some fun! She debuted as Mme Thenardier in Les Miserables, played the iconic Madam Rose in Gypsy, Carlotta in Follies, and then Moss in our all-female Glengarry Glen Ross. A veteran of many CT stages, you may have seen her as Fraulein Schneider in Cabaret, Rosie in Mamma Mia, Kate in The Cover of Life, M’Lynn in Steel Magnolias, Maria Callas in Master Class, Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard, Blanche Dubois in Streetcar Named Desire, The Witch in Into The Woods, Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd and many others. Marilyn is a physician assistant in Waterbury. Heartfelt thanks to Gail, Ben and Lou for never losing faith that it would happen. Thanks also to husband John and her two favorite productions, Philip and Ellie (who is up in the booth!) for supporting her creative side. Ta gra agam duit!
