Since moving back to CT, Nancy has directed Yeomen of the Guard (Troupers Light Opera); Joyful Noise (Town Players of New Canaan); [title of show], I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (Wilton Playshop); and Hound of the Baskervilles (The Lipstick Project). Nancy has 20+ years of experience performing professional and educational improvisational comedy with Laughing Matters, No Name Players (Atlanta), and Now This! (D.C.), and she recently published "Teaching Improv Skills," now available on Amazon (link). Recent shows include Into the Woods (Jack’s Mother) and Sister Act (Mother Superior) at Curtain Call; The Burning of Norwalk (Dame Raymond) and Mother Jones and the Children’s Crusade (Mother Jones) with Crystal Theatre; and It’s Hell Out There (Alexis) and She Kills Dragons (Vera) for Croton Academy of Arts. She is the board chair of Best Buddies Connecticut, an organization that matches people with intellectual disabilities with people with typical skills for one-to-one friendships.
