Even though it has been MANY years since September brought a new school year for me, this time of year is still very  exciting. Maybe it has something to do with having started here at Curtain Call on September 1, 2000.

Each year I look forward to welcoming our audiences to see shows that they know and love, as well as some that are brand new or others they may have missed in NYC. This first show - AND AWAY WE GO - is one that I missed but had heard many friends talk about when it played 10 years ago. It's a bit of an insider's look at the world of theatre from 2000 years ago to the present. 

There's a good bit that may ring true to you as patrons, and, for the performers among us, things may bring back memories. The time-hopping nature of this piece is detailed in the program notes at your seats. Be sure to take a look. 

As we kick off this new season, I'm very excited to have this great show playing here for the first time along with several other shows making their Curtain Call debuts. The next big "newbie" is BEAUTIFUL, THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL, playing in The Kweskin Theatre.
